There are only two things you need for the ultimate girls weekend getaway:
- 10 of your best girl friends
- A reseveration at The Parker Palm Springs.
This place is the epitome of relaxation. Walking into The Parker was like I died and went to Instagram heaven. The décor has this eclectic mid-century modern vibe that makes you feel chic and glamorous. There were so many cute spaces for photo ops and we haven’t even made it to our room yet. I wanted to literally come home and burn my house down, just so I could rebuild a tiny replica of this place.
The grounds of the property are a maze of 10-foot hedges that you could get lost for days in. Around each corner you’ll find a set of chairs or a cute little hammock. While we were there, it felt like every corner we turned, someone was getting engaged. People were falling in love all over this place, which only adds to the beautiful, welcoming, sunshiney feeling at The Parker.
We stayed in the north building, which was by the kids pool/family pool. It had super cute striped umbrellas and cabanas, but this was a vacation away from the kids, so we headed to the more important pool – the one with a full bar and poolside service. The bar is called The Lemonade Stand and it sits under this adorable yellow and white striped awning and features lemonade themed cocktails.
We tried a few of the restaurants and bars during our stay, but the best by far were Counter and Tucan’s.
Counter is this long bar that serves little tapas and appetizers. The caviar was so amazing that we ordered it twice. And don’t even get me started on the bread! The bread is literally baked in France and flown in and it was TO DIE FOR!
My favorite part of the trip was the night we spent at Tucan’s. There were playin 90’s hip hop and had this awesome drag show that had us drinking, laughing and signing all night long.
The Parker has so much to offer and literally a surprise around every corner. My girls and I had the best time and will definitely be back. Check out these gorgeous shots from our trip!
