If you haven’t heard about Metix Class yet, let me be the first to give you the details because this brand is about to be huge in the fashion and beauty industry. After attending the “back to school” themed launch party in Bel Air- I definitely felt schooled. These kids really know how to work it! Everyone’s makeup was AMAZING and definitely aged me, just a bit. I mean, lets be real — I could be some of these diva’s mom. All of the coolest young influencers were there, including the fabulous Justine Skye.
First let’s just talk location: Hotel Bel Air is literally gorgeous. The event was in one of the beautiful gardens on the property, alongside a small lake with actual swans. Add all of that to a perfect California sunset and a couple glasses of rose and you’ve got super fabulous vibes all night. Metix decorated with their signature lavender & dreamy high school setup. From lockers to pom poms, reading glasses and chalkboards – Metix definitely brought the school spirit.
The launch party was meant to celebrate the newest trend in makeup: master class. Famous makeup artists usually host beauty master classes and use celebrities as models to teach people beauty techniques, talk about products, and answer questions. Typically, you buy a ticket to attend the master class, take notes and leave. These events can be super exclusive (and expensive,) and that’s where Metix comes in. Metix videotapes these master classes and gives you 24/7 online access to the entire class. For only $30, you can experience the class as often as you want. Which is perfect for me, because I’ve got a lot of learning to do.
